On the diploma course (At The Bench Academy) we did some bezel setting and I wanted a bit more practice. I had a stash of stones, some of which I’d bought and some were recovered from rings that I no longer wore. So, a multi-coloured bracelet seemed like a plan.
A bezel setting was made for each stone. And each setting had two small sections of tube soldered to the back plate. These tubes were joined by some jump rings. The tubes are all hidden under the stones and it is nice and flexible and comfortable to wear. This was from a tutorial video on At The Bench – not the diploma course but the online jeweller course site.
The clasp is a ‘C-clasp’ which I saw on You Tube (Metal of Honour) – and it is a really nice thing to make and to use.
